Personal Development

For those who seek a solution to lack of momentum and progress (and as stated; therefore a decrease in happiness), a lot can be said for the practice of personal development.

Personal development is the act of developing oneself; this practice is performed through actions which target a facet of an individual and improve upon it. Some actions which can result in the development of oneself include but are not limited to:

  • Reading
  • Exercising
  • Practising a skill
  • Meditation/Mindfulness
  • Journaling
  • Visualising
  • Affirmations to oneself
  • Creating

It is often found that the quality of life one experiences, holds a direct correlation with the level of personal development which one has undergone for themselves. This would be expected, as it requires an individual who recognises the opportunity for more beauty, and has acquired tools to make use of on their journey, to reach greater levels in life.

To experience that which is greater, it is recommended that one improves themselves to become greater.
