As part of the complex and vast array of functions and systems the human body has developed, one which is far less commonplace is the experience of hunger.
Far too often, individuals eat as a method of comfort, rather than as a method of energy replenishment.
This newly common practice has lead to many of the challenges faced by modern society. They will not be listed here, however they are discussed almost daily through various sources.
Hunger is a feeling designed to inform the conscious that it is time to stock up on new parcels of energy for the body to make use of. To ignore it is just as bad as to avoid it entirely.
One may find that allowing the body to make use of the entirety of the energy sources available to it, will lead to increased energy and vitality. Balance is a key here yet again.
