Achieving a goal is one of the most exhilarating and dopamine inducing feelings which one can experience. It provides a rush of excitement, growth as an individual and improves upon momentum which one has developed for themselves. It is important however acknowledges that these results are not what happiness represents. Surely, these feelings amplify the process of attaining happiness, however in themselves they do not represent what happiness truly is.
Happiness is the result of two ideas:
- The gratitude which one holds for the future which is coming towards them.
- The gratitude one holds for the current moment of existence.
The accomplishment of goals has a profound effect on amplifying the consistency and intensity of the above notions that take place during ones journey.
Patience, purpose, gratitude and consistent action create a recipe for the ease of attaining feelings of happiness and content.
