Forgiveness is the attitude of the strong. – Gandhi
What does it necessarily mean to forgive?
To forgive is not to excuse that which has been done, but rather to accept the action for what it is, and to stop allowing that which as already happened to affect you.
Learn from actions that are taken, and use them to better yourself. To allow the past to consistently affect the present is a detrimental use of time and mental resources.
To forgive is to let go.
