Controlled breathing has an immense effect over the physical state of the body, and in turn the psychological/emotional state as well.
For those who are undergoing stress, the following breathing exercise is highly recommended:
- Breathe in for 4 counts
- Hold for 2 counts
- Breathe out for 6 counts
- Repeat until a peaceful state of mind sets in
