Patience is more than the mere act of waiting. If it were to be defined in such a way, then patience would not be so highly spoken of by the worlds greatest minds; this would entail that patience is merely a method of using ones time unproductively, and allowing circumstance to determine how we live our lives.

Patience is enjoying, loving and being grateful for the present moment, whilst simultaneously being grateful for all that you have faith you are receiving, further into the future.

When defined this way, patience becomes a form of meditation; a way to calm the mind by utilising faith and gratitude, and a form of reassurance for the great future coming your way.
